Caneel, Where I grew up we had walnut and hazelnut trees but I don't remember ever seeing a pecan tree. Thank you for sharing. BTW, I like your idea about finding beauty in each day. I used to keep a "grateful journal", each day I would make note of some of the things I was grateful for. It was a great pick me up! I've been thinking about getting back into it. Maybe I can combine it with some photos and post them on my blog. Laureen
